This is one of many new classes I’m offering out of both my home shop and Amana. I will begin teaching these classes in spring of 2026, but I am taking sign ups now!
I have a few options for you to choose from which are:
• Forging a claw hammer: this class can take up to a day or two, but you leave with a forged hammer you made yourself.
• forging a set of 3 chisels: you will leave with a set of 3 chisels from sizes ranging from 1/2”- up to 1”
• forging a draw knife: every good woodworker needs a good drawknife!
• forging an adze
• forging a hewing axe
•Forging a log dog
•forge the whole set: this class would be a multiple session class where we’d have more time to spend on each project. Estimated time to teach this class could be up to a week or more.
These classes might seem steep in price, but what you leave with is more than forging a simple hook. These classes you can leave with tools that you could use in everyday life.
